Wow so it has been 7 months since i abandoned my space here. I miss writing here so much!

But i admit i fail to update here even when i have the time to do so.

I remember the purpose of me writing here is to reminisce all the stuffs i did & places i visited when i get older. Okay let's get started after a long away of 7 months.

I guess highlight of this 7 months is that i have turned 21? Hahaha.

Instead of some mainstream and expensive birthday parties, i decided to visit Taiwan again.

And also is within my budget. I really love Taiwan when i first visited it.

Was deciding between Taiwan and HongKong. HongKong mainly because i haven't been there before.

But i forgot why i still settled for Taiwan. Anyway i set off on 16 may!

One day before my actual birthday! Took Scoot airline. Got a very good deal from their NATAS promotion,which include free in flight meal.

Took midnight flight. Was so tired when i landed and its like super early when i reached Taiwan.

Hate the fact that i can't check in hotel yet. Only able to check in after 3Pm?

But time is only 7am when i reached XiMending where my hotel is located.

I was freaking drained out. But the hotel is kind enough to let us deposit our luggage.

So we set off to BeiTou for some private hot spring. Went to the wrong hot spring hotel :(

Super sad because the "hot spring" is a bathtub?

The first time i came, it was a nice personal outdoor hot spring. Like damn authentic can?

The hotel i went this time is just a bathtub. -_- Feel damn cheated.

But the interior and room is kinda nice. So i just slept and rejuvenate myself because i was damn freaking tired.

Not to mention, it rained whole day when i checkout after 2 hours.

So we went to a nearby famous 'beitou la mian' BUT IT WAS CLOSED.

So we randomly went to some cafes in order to wait for the rain to stop and they serve my fav steamboat!!!! Its super cheap and tasty :>

6 bucks of goodness and the ingredients were generous!

Not sure whether the steamboat is just that good or because im hungry and its super cold outside :)

This is the beitou hot spring hotel which i went. Okay la the hotel interior not bad and it was really clean!

Almost half day has gone so we decided to go back hotel and check in!

Hotel was really cheap and good! Clean and modern! Only $43 per night! Booked via AirBnb

Hotelcheers! I'm just looking for somewhere reasonable and where we can sleep since most of the time we were out.

Its not really a hotel as it doesn't provide daily cleaning services or hotel services.

Its just hmmm a hostel i guess? By the way the hotel aircon is centralised so ya after i bathed it gets really cold. I have to use the hair dryer to keep myself warm HAHA.

The only thing i don't really like is the fact that the sound proof is really bad. In the morning when people check out, i could hear vacuum cleaner sound when they clean up.

Its really annoying because im such a light sleeper. But it didn't affect poon at all because he's sleeping like a dead log/pig.

So here how our room look like....

Decided to rest early for the first day as both of us were so drained by our midnight flight.

Went out to get dinner and shop around XMD. It was still raining. :(

It practically whole day and everyday when i was there. Learnt from a shop owner that is their raining season. :<

Dinner & supper almost every night. But its just so good and cheap!

can't remember my day to day itinerary because its so damn long ago? Haha so shall just blog accordingly to the places i went.

Can only remember second day as it was my actual birthday. We went Wu feng pu and Raohe night market.

This is my birthday cake ^^ Haha so sad that poon didn't buy me a bday cake :<

I had to force him to buy this for me and sing bday song for me HAHA SADIST MUCH.

We actually wanted to go for fine dining at Taipei 101 but i couldn't get the window seat :<

So i dropped off the idea. So disappointed...... ended up with these cakes from night market.

But still it was quite funny that i force poon to buy for me haha.

Got a matchy luggage tag too. TOO CUTE!!!!

Visited all the Jay Chou's cafe during my trip here. Poon's favourite. First is the secret themed cafe.

I love all the food in Jay Chou's cafe! Its really good!

Jay Chou's secret cafe serve Italian food ! The pasta i had is damn good!

Second jay chou's cafe that we visited is the Initial D themed.

It was my second visit here however it was poon's first. Still love the food here, esp the Tofu!!!!!

Craving for the tofu now :(

Shilin night market! My fav night market of all time.

The shaved ice is sooooooooooo awesome!!!!!!!!!! Love anything that has pearl and yam balls!!!

And i really love this cheesey version of squid!!!!!!!!! Can't forget how it taste!!! NOM!

Third Jay Chou's cafe! I met Jaclyn there :) So happy that we could meet over a lunch there!

I forgot the cafe name but i remembered it was Jay chou and Liu qian's cafe haha.

The interior's design is really pretty!!!!! and food was good too :P

This was the day that my DSLR died on me! I only could remember it was raining whole day.

And the camera was in poon's backpack. Its tightly zipped not sure wth the water got in.

And the whole camera died on me. Damn upset!!!!!!!! it was my 18th birthday present from my mum!

Was sad and in despair that i rang my mum up because i remembered my mum bought travel insurance for me. I checked with her if it could cover the repair fees.

AND SO HENG, THE REPAIR FEES IS COVERED!

Decked in the couple tee that was a gift from my brother's girlfriend in one of the night before we head to bed. Haha, at least we are not being judge here.
